Zebra Foal Naming Competition

Name Monarto Safari Park’s adorable new Zebra calf!

 

A new set of stripes has joined the Monarto Safari Park family!

We’ve been eagerly awaiting the birth of Plains Zebra Thembela’s fifth foal and the little one finally arrived on Monday 20 February.

Now, we need your help to name the little hooved heartthrob from a shortlist put together by our dedicated zebra keepers.

Enter below for your chance to win a double pass to Monarto Safari Park and go behind the scenes on our wild Giraffe Safari experience. Entries close 27 March 2023.

All three names are not only perfect for the tiny foal but also reflect the Grapes for Good trail.

The perfect day out, Bleasdale Vineyards is the first stop along the trail in Langhorne Creek and the winery’s Mulberry Tree Cabernet Sauvignon supports Plains Zebra conservation and protecting this amazing species from extinction.

You can also enter the competition by voting at Bleasdale’s cellar door.

The Grapes for Good trail takes visitors to six wineries to collect a unique mix of wines that support our conservation efforts with part proceeds from the sale of these wines supporting Zoos SA’s conservation mission.
