The race to save rhinos from extinction
The heartbreaking reality is one rhino is killed every six hours.
Rhinos are threatened with extinction due to excessive poaching with their horn traded on the black market. Alleged to have potent powers, the horn is in fact made of keratin and is no different to chewing on fingernails. Such senseless killing is wiping the planet of this species.
We support rhinos in Africa through work with The African Ranger Association, Kruger National Park Honorary Rangers and Sera Conservancy in Kenya.
In this time, Black Rhinos have been reintroduced back into Sera after being poached to extinction.
