Nurturing a lifelong desire to visit Africa?

Yearning to hear a lion roar?

Climb aboard. Previous experience… not essential.

Join us for a book presentation with Australian author Brian Bassett and hear some of his captivating wildlife stories.

The author shares his fascinating educational journey, with insights into some unique African wildlife and initiatives being undertaken to conserve them and their habitats based on his book BLOOD, SWEAT & FEARS: True Stories of Aussies in Africa.

Upon retirement, looking for opportunities to pursue his desire to explore and learn, with cameras in hand, he and his wife Sue travelled to Africa in 2010 largely as tourists. He was captivated by Africa and her people. He knew he had to return, not just as a bystander, as someone deeply engaged in conservation projects. He recognised the potential of the countries and was determined to make a difference.
