See nature off the beaten track and welcome the arrival of spring in the Mallee.
If you are a bird watcher, wild flower lover or just enjoy wandering through bushlands, you will enjoy this exclusive experience offered to Zoos SA members and their guests.
Join our volunteer guides for a stroll through the scrub to witness the arrival of spring in the Mallee. At this time of the year, the birds are breeding, wildflowers are blooming and the weather is usually ideal for walking. Many of the plants and animals of the Murraylands can be found in this area, so bring your camera and binoculars. During your stroll you will stop to share a morning tea, with some time for discussing plants and birds. After a lunch stop, you will join the walking track back to the New Visitor Centre.
